It's Already July ??!!

I can't believe it's already July 1st! That means a few things:

1. Summer is about to fly by ... and it already is.

2. We are one day closer to starting the First Day of School for 2015 - 2016! /=

3. My birthday is in 5 days! :)

Since I forgot my book (I'm reading The Great Gatsby) this morning while sitting in the waiting room at the doctor's office, I decided to scroll through my Bloglovin' feed when I realized "Oh my goodness! It's July 1st! Currently time!" So I am linking up with Farley over at Oh' Boy 4th Grade to bring you this month's Currently (be sure to click and link up too)!

Pretty self explanatory. It's such a nice summer morning!

I can't believe after diligently applying like CRAZY! I received a phone call for an interview, then a demo lesson, and further offered a job as an 8th grade Language Arts teacher! It's soo surreal.  I can't believe I'm leaving my district where I was for the first two years of my career!  I taught 3rd grade, and absolutely loved it!  I'm sure it will turn out to be my favorite grade. :)  But I feel like I'm a teacher who needs a challenge so I want to teach as many grade levels and ages as I can.  Had I stayed with my district, I was going to be moved to 6th grade, but this 8th grade offer came through and it was hard to refuse. :( My commute is going from 50 miles to 4 miles!! *insert bug-eyed emoji" ;)

I need to discipline myself and set a bed time, meal plan, workout regime, Bible devotion time ... I just need some consistency because the hecticness of the start of summer has me allllllll over the place and my things are alllll. over. the. house.  #mymomissopatient

part of my bedroom floor ...

my dining room table ...

I was up early this morning for a doctor's appointment.  And because I have no disciple in going to bed - I went to bed late last night.. aside from already being exhausted during the day. -_- Hence, I need more sleep.

We've been out of school for a little over a week and I feel like summer is flying by.  Come July 4, I know it's going to fly by even quicker!  The past few summers I've felt like after July 4, summer goes by faster than any other time of the year.  I want to just enjoy my summer, read, relax, and rejuvenate myself before I begin my new teaching journey!

All Star:
Hmm .. this one was tough to pinpoint, but I decided to say that I was "good" at being a sister.  I'm the oldest of 4 girls, and my sisters and I have really come together the last few years.  We are extremely tight and are there for each other when someone needs something (such as bringing our cell phone to us when we are too lazy to get it ourselves).  We fight.  We laugh. We irritate each other. We cook for each other.  We hang out.  We talk.  We vent.  I'd say we've got it good. :)
